The Lord, Fools, and Friendship

Pastor: Terry N. Wilson Topic: Wisdom Scripture: Proverbs 18:10–11, Proverbs 26:4–5, Proverbs 27:5–6, Proverbs 27:17

Proverbs 18:10 - 11

10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
The righteous runs into it and is safe.
11 A rich man’s wealth is his strong city,
And like a high wall in his own imagination.

Proverbs 26:4 - 5

Do not answer a fool according to his folly,
Or you will also be like him.
Answer a fool as his folly deserves,
That he not be wise in his own eyes.

Proverbs 27:5 - 6, 17

Better is open rebuke
Than love that is concealed.
Faithful are the wounds of a friend,
But deceitful are the kisses of an enemy.

17 Iron sharpens iron,
So one man sharpens another.
